Madrid's Sports Minister Mariano de Paco said the Vallecas Stadium still does not meet safety requirements for Rayo Vallecano to play there. The club has submitted 1,000 pages of documentation, but authorities deem it insufficient.

Deadlines and Documentation

De Paco noted that the paperwork was submitted after the deadline, complicating the assessment. The minister added that the club must decide the venue for its second league match, though it does not necessarily have to be in Burgos.

Upcoming Inspections

The Madrid Community Ministry announced that a new audit of the stadium will be carried out to guarantee 100 % safety. The inspection is expected in the coming days.
